Hostel Facility

The University has recently opened a hostel for girls which provides excellent residential facilities .It is located on the campus and is open for all categories of students , but the preference is given to the outside Quetta students.

The University charges the students a very nominal fees for this Hostel facility and provides all of them with extremely comfortable and safe rooms. This newly provided hostel Facility has not only helped the girls of the University to inter mingle among each other in a better way but has also given them a chance to access the University Library and Laboratories for a longer period of time. This Hostel has been a great comfort to outside Quetta girls as a large part of their day after University was otherwise spend in commuting.

Hostel facility has been provided to regular students of the university and not for short courses. Two old doctor’s bungalows and the old Nurses Hostel are being used. Currently, 57 students are residing at the hostel. Fee from the hostel residents is charged as per the following schedule:

The hostel residents have held dinners and parties, and the university also subsidies these events. The Vice Chancellor hosted dinners for all residents as well as for graduating residents of the hostel

The Hostel mess is run by students. The food charges depend upon the number of students residing in the hostel and is collected by the hostel management committee.

Hostel residents are provided free university transport to visit the market for their shopping. Some students take short courses outside the campus and are also provided university transport.
