The history of development, across the globe,
amply, demonstrates that education is the key
condition for economic, social and political
development. Education is the liberating force
which gives freedom to human beings from the
tyranny of ignorance, poverty and
disempowerment. Review of successful initiatives
at human and social development in developing
countries, establishes a direct |

relationship between female education and efforts at
improving delivery of education and primary health care
services and poverty alleviation at the household level.
The Sardar Bahadur Khan Women's University is indeed an
excellent opportunity for the women of Balochistan to
acquire professional expertise in social and natural
sciences and play an active role in social and economic
development of Balochistan. |

institution and needs to be celebrated. I would like to
extend my heartiest congratulations to the SBKWU for
realizing a dream into reality and the graduating
students for the award of deserved degrees. |
