Then he was provided a detailed briefing by the Vice Chancellor on the University’s five year development plan, for the years 2004-2009, she  highlighted further expansion of academic departments, library, laboratories, computer networking, and further introduction of various diploma courses. Dr. Atta addressed the students of the university, and emphasized hard work and said that this is an age of exploration and discovery of new achievements in the scientific field. We can benefit by increasing our knowledge in relevant branches of learning.

He also said that Higher Education Commission is providing facility of Digital Library to students to which access is free of cost, and soon the SBK Women’s University will be connected through PERN which will facilitate students to get lectures directly from other universities of the country. The Federal Minster said special facilities, free of cost will be provided to students and faculty in the scientific field for research. He said that learning is always fun and we should enjoy this process. He also said that the key to success depends on research and for that we should emphasize on research work. Dr. Atta was very impressed with the progress and development of the Women’s University in a short span of one year, and wrote in the Visitor’s Book: “Stunning.  Keep up the good work”.
