This course is for academic excellence. Its aim is at
an extensive comprehension of various dimensions of
Pakistan Studies. Since the Master’s Degree demands
a broader perspective of knowledge, the range of
this course includes Pakistan’s constitutionalism,
economic parameters and cultural heritage. The
additional aspects of socialization, mobilization
and mass participation in Pakistan’s political
environment are also given due weightage. The purpose is to
analyze the patterns of social change in the country. In
addition, to locate Pakistan in the contemporary world
scenario, a special emphasis is laid on its regional and
global interaction with other states in both the Cold War
and the Post-Cold War periods.
As the course
is extensive and updated, and research oriented as well, it
enables the student to compete academically in this age of
advancement, and also opens up new avenues for his/her
employment in practical life |
