Semester System
The Pattern is based on semester and each semester is of 4 and half month duration. The classes are conducted on strict regular basis utilizing the latest teaching methodology. Quality studies are made possible due to the efforts and talent of our lectures that not only the courses are executed but extra time is also provided to enhance individual talent among the studies ,like managing and guiding them for research work. Multimedia and visual aids are also part of teaching methodology .
Additional Aids for a Wider Scope of Knowledge.
Our focus embraces the possible opportunities to widen the study scope of our students. besides prescribed courses, the class presentation and monthly assignments are accepted on basis of additional "library consultation" and "Internet exploration". this effort produces the critical sprit and thirst for knowledge , the book reading habit and latest information among them.

Entrance Requirements

Merits seats are divided into category I& II in the ratio of 70% and 30%.

  1. B.A., B.Sc. with English Literature
    Aggregate marks B.A., B.Sc.+ marks in compulsory English + marks in English literature.
  2. ii) B.A., B.Sc. or B.Com without English Literature
Admission Criteria
All applications are evaluated on the basis of merit as determined by the applicant's previous academic record and performance in the Admission Test.
Admission Test
The test will be of one hour ,it will be divided into 2 sections literature and language Section one consists of short questions concerning basic English literature to judge the understanding of the student. Section 2 consists of an essay of 300 to 500 words to be written on one topic. The paper comprises of synonyms ,antonyms ,pair of words , use of preposition
Financial Aid
Merit- and need-based, full and partial scholarships are available for outstanding candidates
