SBKWU LAUNCHES ALUMNI ASSOCIATION
REUNION LIKE NO OTHER |
The soft launch of the SBKWU alumni association was held on Thursday 23rd DEC
2010. Over 50 former students gathered at the event to mark the launch of the
new alumni association. It was not just a reunion of individuals but a reunion
of happy memories, unforgettable moments and treasured past. The atmosphere was
ebullient and people nostalgic .Graduates packed into the hall to meet their
classmates and lecturers for successful night of networking and socializing .The
gathering formally started with the address of the president Alumni Association
Durdana Khosa , in which she highlighted and emphasized the need and importance
of the newly launched Alumni Association . Speaking at the launch the
university’s Vice Chancellor and also the guest of honor sultana Baluch said
that “alumni association is a platform for the university graduates to make
collective efforts for the welfare and betterment of the university”
Certificates were also distributed among the alumni. Small skit prepared by the
students was the high point of the reunion.
The session was followed by refreshments. the event was an exciting affair as
it brought on stage the glimpses of all the major events that SBK had conducted
earlier this year, including the universities first ever fund raiser “Cakes for
A Cause” on the initiative taken to raise money for the people affected by
recent flood in Pakistan .Certificates were also awarded to the volunteers and
the organizers of the this event. |
