1. The Finishing School Course--The Oasis of Roses
Majida Hameed—a consultant from Canada, has designed this school on the patterns of the Finishing Schools of Switzerland and Qatar.
 The learning outcomes of the course are to empower women with the ability and skills to manage their homes economically and efficiently, to care for themselves, their children, and their homes in a healthy and creative manner.A model home/cottage (Rose Cottage) decorated with local and indigenous furniture and décor, a beauty saloon (Hani Beauty Saloon) and a gymnasium; have been established at the university as a part of this course.
 The four months long course has been introduced in Balochistan for the first time at very nominal fee. Initially, the fee for the entire course was Rs. 4000; however, it has been increased to Rs. 6000 during the current session. Fee of Finishing School of Pakistan Air Force at Chaklala is Rs 64,000/- and Finishing Schools in Switzerland charge $20,000. Two courses are conducted in a year.
2. Gem and Gemological Institute

A Gem and Gemological Institute has been established on the campus in collaboration with Gem and Gemological Institute (GGIP) Peshawar and Small and Medium Enterprise Development Authority (SMEDA) Balochistan. The institute has been established on the pattern of Gem and Gemological Institute Peshawar (GGIP). Technical cooperation and assistance has also been provided by the GGIP. It has been funded by the Governor’s funds.

Gem cutting, polishing and carving are being taught. The aim is to give technical training to the faculty, students and women from Balochistan, to use state of the art technology in cutting and polishing semi precious gemstones and in manufacturing of marble and granite handicrafts; enabling them to come into this business and generate self-employment. It is expected that, about 300 women will be trained in the first two years.

The Gem cutting and polishing course is of four-month duration. Trainers have come from Peshawar and are living on campus. The monthly fee is Rs 500. Requirement for admission is matriculation.

3. English Language and Computer Center
To keep the students at pace with the dynamic requirements of education, an English Language and Computer Center will be established shortly. The center will offer short courses in English language and computer
