Message from the Vice Chancellor It is indeed an honor for me to be appointed as the Vice Chancellor of this esteemed educational institution. This is Balochistan’s first and Pakistan ’s third women’s university. The need for a women's university was felt for several years by the people of Balochistan, however, it was materialized in 2004. With its creation it opened doors of endless opportunities for the women of Balochistan, who could not pursue quality higher education in co-educational institutions. Current students’ enrollment is around 3000. Record shows that there has been an influx of new students in every new semester, which is the sign of confidence that parents and students have in the university and on the quality of education imparted here. The Higher Education Commission declared the SBKWU as its Flag Ship Project in 2008   Our efforts are not only directed towards provision of excellent modern quality education to the students, but also towards their character building and making them excellent human beings with in the parameters of Islam.   I wish best of luck to the students who wish to be the part of SBKWU and long for their success in their educational pursuits.
