The Department of Student affairs was established in May 2004. Student Affairs Service is the major service concerned with student and course administration from admissions through to awards. With overall responsibility for the student record system, academic and student regulations, student complaints, tuition fee assessment, exams, ceremonies and with special support for research students, the service is a significant source of information about rules, regulations and procedures which affect students and staff.

The mission of Student Affairs is to foster an environment supporting learning, healthy lifestyles, leadership and career development, personal growth, and inclusiveness The Department of Student affairs provides following services to the students.

Student Affairs provides areas of opportunity to balance physical, emotional, and social well-being through participation in recreation, student organizations, on-campus employment, and community service and volunteerism.

Helps students in the admission process, Guides them in selection of discipline of their choice

Student Affairs is committed to building a sense of community on campus through partnerships with academic departments, local residents, alumni, and business leaders. In addition, Student Affairs personnel are devoted professionals who strive to develop a meaningful and lasting camaraderie among students.

It also keeps all the record of students’ enrollment, fee collections, fee concessions, scholarships, hostel fee transport fee. semester break record, semester left etc. The students if have any kind of problem or query concern student affairs department. Students need to maintain 75%of their attendance to appear in examination.

The university has departed from the conventional annual system of teaching to more interactive and applied method of teaching based on the semester system. The medium of instruction is English and modern teaching methodologies are extensively used – such as audio visual teaching aids, the multi media, over-head projectors, videos, documentaries, field visits, seminars, presentations, and research in and out of the library.

The university invites intellectuals and scholars as guest speakers almost on a weekly basis they come from all over the country. To stimulate the intellectual abilities and increase the confidence of the students, emphasis is laid on class presentations, discussions, assignments and short quizzes. Mid semester and semester end exams are also conducted. Quality of education is stressed to make the SBK Women's University as a leading female educational institution of Pakistan.

Fee concessions

Fee concessions are given to deserving candidates keeping in view their financial condition. So far, fee concessions of Rs. 83,500/- have been given to deserving students. Sister fee concession of Rs.500 is also provided to students.

Scholarships

HUB Power Company has given scholarships to deserving students on the basis of their financial and educational background. Besides paying of their tuition fee HUBCO is also providing them stipend of Rs.2000 per month. So far 20 students are availing this facility of scholarship.

HUBCO has committed to increase the number of scholarships from 20 to 30. Besides this scholarship HEC is also providing the scholarship from its different programs to the students of SBK Women's university.
