It is the vision of Physics department to be recognized at the national level as an institute of Academic excellence with high moral and ethical values, providing interaction between scientific research and technological development for national security and socio-economic benefits, encouraging and raising an environment of mutual respect and free exchange of thoughts, were lack of resources on part of deserving students is not an impediment to acquiring quality education.

The main goals and objective of physics department are:

• To let the students understand the fundamental principles of the physics in depth, develop analytical techniques, become proficient in an experimentation to understand principles and concepts in physics, and develop a good command over the theoretical and experimental dimensions of the physics.
• The students will also learn mathematical techniques, principles and their applications in physics and applied fields.
• Students will develop critical, and rationale reasoning shall to be able to work on complex problems and be able to develop careers in teaching, research, industry and government.
