In viewing this stipulate, four year’s bachelor applied research
degree program in environmental sciences was introduced by Sardar Bahadur khan
Women University in 2007. The foremost aspire was to start this program in Sardar Bahadur Khan Women’s University, Quetta,
Balochistan is to train women of Balochistan to develop their physical,
proficient and intellectual potentials, to gain a sound research and to pursue a
career in the environmental field with utmost potential and allegiance.
The students are energizing to be aware of the threats and encounters in the
environment in our day, and value the steps obligatory to build up solutions. To
support the pursuit of knowledge, the advancement of technology, and the
creation of pathways of communication in the environmental sciences, students
are always encouraged to present their project work as a part of training, in
different courses.
Initially twenty students were enrolled in environmental sciences department in 2007

After getting Degree in Environmental sciences the
graduates will be able to join and get jobs in wide range of governmental
organization( Ministry of Environment, Ministry of defence and Environmental protection Agencies)
and non-governmental organizations ( WWF, IUCN, SDPI, UNDIO, UNFAO, USAID,
SUPARCO etc) as research officers, environmental trainers, environmentalist
activists.
