Biochemistry department was established in 2017 under the supervision of Ms. Fazeela Mandokhail. Department was started with four years BS and two years M. Sc programs in 2017. Many graduated students of M. Sc and BS are serving in renowned private and government sectors. In 2020 department has started M. Phil degree program. Currently, the Department is offering academic programs in discipline Medical Lab Technology (MLT) for the students at BS level.

The Department of Environmental Sciences envisions becoming a leading center of excellence in sustainable development, environmental stewardship, and ecosystem resilience. Our focus is on pioneering research, transformative education, and impactful outreach to address pressing global challenges, including climate change, biodiversity loss, environmental pollution, and sustainable resource management.

The core objectives of the Department of Environmental Sciences are to:

  • Deliver interdisciplinary expertise in ecological, biological, chemical, and physical processes shaping the environment.
  • Conduct state-of-the-art research on climate change, biodiversity conservation, pollution mitigation, and sustainable resource use.
  • Promote sustainable development by integrating social, economic, and environmental perspectives.
  • Collaborate with local and global communities to raise awareness and implement conservation strategies.
  • Equip students with professional skills for careers in environmental policy, management, conservation, and scientific research.
  • Empower women in Balochistan through environmental education, contributing to sustainable development and societal transformation in the region.
