The event was organized under the PEACE project of Balochistan Rural Support Programme (BRSP) and hosted by ORIC, SBKWU. The event focused on enhancing awareness and skills related to responsible digital engagement and online safety.
The seminar emphasized the importance of digital literacy in today’s interconnected world, promoting responsible online behavior and ensuring a safer, more informed digital environment, particularly within local communities. Participants were encouraged to explore the power of digital tools in education, communication, and everyday life.
In addition to the core theme, the seminar also addressed entrepreneurship development, specifically tailored for final-year students. This session provided valuable insights into utilizing digital platforms for launching and managing small businesses, fostering a sense of innovation and self-reliance among young women.
The active involvement of BRSP through its PEACE project contributed significantly to the success of the event, providing relevant content, expert speakers, and interactive sessions that engaged students meaningfully.
Conclusion
The seminar was well-received by both students and faculty. the seminar proved to be a fruitful experience, equipping participants with practical knowledge and motivation to navigate the digital world confidently and responsibly while also inspiring entrepreneurial thinking among the youth. At the conclusion of the event, all participants were provided with lunch boxes and awarded seminar participation certificates as a token of appreciation. Overall, the seminar was a productive and enriching experience for everyone involved.
