ORIC Office of Research, Innovation & Commercialization at Sardar Bahadur Khan Women’s University, Quetta, serves as the nerve center for fostering a vibrant research culture at SBKWU. Our mandate is to facilitate quality research, build industry-academia linkages, promote innovation, and ensure that the knowledge generated by our scholars translates into real societal impact.

At SBKWU, we are committed to empowering women researchers across Balochistan. From MPhil/PhD scholars to early-career faculty, ORIC provides end-to-end support — from proposal development and funding facilitation to patent filing, commercialization, and ethical review.

In an era of rapid technological and social change, universities must lead solutions. SBKWU’s research priorities align with regional needs: climate resilience, sustainable livelihoods, public health, education, and cultural heritage.
